The track of the municipal sports center of Las Torres de Cotillas will be the stage on Wednesday 13 and Thursday 14 June of the 'I Open Tournament' of paddle, team sport consisting of the fusion of football and paddle.
Organized by the Department of Physical Activity and Sports, this championship will be held in two categories: junior, from 12 to 16 years, and senior, from 17 years. "The first and second classified in each category will take trophy and medals" , indicates the councilman, Ginés Pérez, who points out that this is a modern, emerging and attractive sport that is present in some twenty countries.
"In Las Torres de Cotillas, we inaugurated the first runway of these characteristics in the Region of Murcia in 2016 and it is a modality that little by little is permeating our town, especially among the youngest," the mayor points out.
