The past June 2 took place a serious altercation in an address of the Torreño municipality.

Apparently, several people went to the home of a neighbor of the town with whom they had an argument that motivated a struggle and that culminated when one of them fired at the first.

The author of the shot did not hesitate to use the firearm and shoot the victim despite being inside the house the minor children of it.

Effective of the Benemérita, specialized in Judicial Police, they took charge of the investigation and carried out numerous investigations both in the criminal scene and in the surroundings of the victim in order to clarify the facts.

The hard work done by the investigators allowed a few hours later to identify the suspects.

The extensive search device motivated the location of the two main members of this criminal group, the leader and his lieutenant, who also happen to be uncle and nephew.

The investigation shows that the altercation was caused by a debt incurred by the victim with the leader of the criminal group, which motivated the discussion that ended with the victim being urgently intervened for a gunshot wound.

After being stabilized, he recovers from the injuries produced as a result of the shot, which would have reached him in the abdomen after crossing the elbow of his right arm.

Once the facts were perpetrated, the suspects got rid of the firearm used and the mobile phones with which they communicated.

The gun was thrown that same night to the river Segura from a bridge, near the hamlet of Beniaján Murcia to avoid that the Civil Guard could find it and link the detainees with the crimes investigated.

During the last days and once all the necessary evidence has been obtained, the Civil Guard has developed the exploitation phase of the operation in which the two suspects have been located and arrested.

Prior judicial authorization, three entries and registrations have been made in the Murcia districts of El Palmar and Los Garres, in which evidence related to the facts has been seized, as well as a wooden press with metal plates.

This type of device is usually used by certain groups or criminal organizations related to drug trafficking and is used to press cocaine or hashish and thus be able to wrap them.

In the dwelling of the lieutenant of the criminal group have also been found the keys to numerous vehicles and garage door controls.

Some of the vehicles have been located later by the agents, distributed by different streets of El Palmar-Murcia.

Several of these vehicles, of great power, had 'caletas' on the dashboard.

The criminal group had a place in the town of El Palmar where the lieutenant, a mechanic by profession but not working, practiced these hidden compartments in vehicles.

These hidden spaces, called 'caletas' in the criminal slang, are used to hide narcotic substances or firearms during the different journeys they have to make in transactions.

The Special Group of Underwater Activities (GEAS) of the Civil Guard has developed an exhaustive search for the Segura River, which has culminated with the location of a pistol, which could be used by one of the detainees who were shot.

Those arrested, the effects seized and the proceedings ordered have been placed at the disposal of the Court of Instruction of Molina de Segura (Murcia) which has decreed the entry into preventive detention for the alleged perpetrator of the shooting.
