The 'L'Almazara' club closes its 'XXXIII Cultural Week' with five evenings full of art (16/07/2018)

The 'L'Almazara' club of Las Torres de Cotillas concluded its 'XXXIII Cultural Week' last Saturday, July 14, in which it offered five evenings full of art, music and dance in the area of ​​Maestro Don Ángel Palazón of the municipality.

The last night was starred by the national folklore show 'Joaquín Fernández Dólera', where the groups of choirs and dances 'Renacimiento de Cenicientos' Madrid, 'Las Refajonas' from Níjar (Almería) and 'Virgen de la Salceda' (Las Torres de Cotillas).

One night that counted on the presence of the Queen of the Huerta and her ladies, and that - like all the previous ones - was presented by the radio announcer María José Sánchez.

This 'Cultural Week' had started on Tuesday July 10 with an evening that featured the performance of the club 'El Esprefollo' of Zarandona (Murcia), the coronation of the new godmothers (Amalia Baño, the eldest, and Ángela García, la infantil) and the appointment as 'Partner of honor' of the company 'Sal García' (Molina de Segura).

To close the night, which was attended by the mayor, Isabel María Zapata, the group 'Delvis Ramos and their chocolate' set its Cuban rhythm for the enjoyment of all attendees.

More activities

On Wednesday, July 11, the protagonist was folklore with an evening with the ethnographic group 'Vergel de Murcia', the music school of L'Almazara -directed by José Antonio Reina and who starred in a recital of popular themes- and the association AFES Mental Health Murcia and counties.

The night was closed by the Torreño group 'A compass' with its rhythm of flamenco and rumbas.

The 'Cultural Week' of the peña 'L'Almazara' continued on Thursday July 12 with the festival of folklore for children, where the schools of the clubs 'El Esprefollo' (Zarandona), 'La Parra' (San Basilio, Murcia) took part ) and 'L'Almazara' (Las Torres de Cotillas).

An evening that concluded with the show of magic and humor for all the children of 'El gran Javi Martínez'.

Enfilando the final straight on Friday July 13 took place the festival of the Spanish song and flamenco 'Francisco García García', which offered the performances of the group 'Canela en rama' of the Center for the Elderly of Las Torres de Cotillas, the dance school of Víctor Campos of the municipality and the group 'La Espartera'.
