Local Police Las Torres de Cotillas has seized today Friday November 2 of 63 pairs of false sports shoes in one of the open-air markets of the municipality.
"They are counterfeits of products of well-known commercial brands, which could have an estimated value in excess of 3,600 euros on the market," explains the mayor, Isabel María Zapata.
The shoes were duly requisitioned by the agents, the seller identified and the corresponding proceedings have already been processed by the court, which will be in charge of continuing the process.
This action is part of the usual work of citizen security and control that the police perform in the markets of the municipality.
"They are done in collaboration with Civil Protection on Tuesday and Friday in the Oltra Moltó street market and on Saturdays in the Los Pulpites street", explains the Councilor for Public Safety, Pedro José Noguera, who stresses that "such a sale is very rare in the markets of Las Torres de Cotillas because they are very controlled. "
