12/11/18 The municipal soccer field 7 artificial turf located next to the House of Culture Pedro Serna of Las Torres de Cotillas has its new stand.
This has a capacity of 120 spectators, is located in the central part of the field and offers its users two sections with three rows of colored seats.
"So we continue with the renovation that is being carried out by the City Council in this facility, which offers service to about 1,500 users among the clubs, the players of the amateur league and the fixed rents," explains the mayor, Isabel María Zapata, who recently checked in person the result of these works.
"In addition, one of the funds has recently been provided with a row of banks next to the changing rooms to complement the capacity of the installation and has proceeded to the replacement of the heaters of the changing rooms to improve service to its users" , indicates the Councilor for Physical Activity and Sports, Ginés Pérez, also present at the visit.
Deep renovation
This football field was renovated a few months ago thanks to a municipal investment of 136,000 euros, works in which, among other improvements, artificial turf was installed.
"The project involved the creation of a football field 7 and, across it, two 5-a-side soccer fields," says the mayor, who notes that "the grass of this field, which has decongested the municipal field 'Onofre Fernández Verdú' , is accredited as FIFA One Start and FIFA Two Start according to FIFA Laboratory Test ".
