A new edition of the school education campaign has already begun in Las Torres de Cotillas, aimed at about 900 students of 5 years, 4 of Primary, and 2 of Secondary of the municipality.
"Right now the theoretical classes are being taught in their centers, in an initiative in which the drawing contest has been resumed," explains the mayor, Isabel María Zapata, who recalls that it is an initiative coordinated by the Department of Education and Police and Civil Protection.
The participating centers are Valentín Buendía, Vista Alegre, Joaquín Cantero, Cervantes, San José, El Parque, Susarte, Divino Maestro and Monteazahar schools, as well as Salvador Sandoval and Florida IES.
"As a novelty, 1st and 6th grade students attend, and 5-year-old students perform a small circuit, becoming themselves signs", explains the Councilor for Education, Pedro Cabrera.
The practical part, which children will perform by bicycle on the road park located at the municipal sports center, will begin on March 7.
"The closing day will be on March 28, will have the delivery of diplomas and an exhibition will be held by those who have better assimilated," Zapata said.
