The City of Las Torres de Cotillas has acquired two new cars for the service of the Local Police of the municipality, which have all the equipment so that Torreño agents perform their services and with their corresponding signage.
"These purchases are part of an improvement plan for the local security bodies and are new municipal investments financially sustainable," explains the mayor, Isabel María Zapata, who recalls that for a few weeks the Civil Protection body has a new vehicle and a drone.
With these acquisitions the Local Police Torrena has a total of seven cars (5 police vehicles, one without rotary and one for the canine unit) and 8 motorcycles.
"In addition, this plan of improvements has led to the purchase of new bulletproof vests and extendable batons, as well as the renewal of uniforms," ​​says the councilor of Police and Civil Protection, Pedro José Noguera, which highlights the constant training of agents.
"A few days ago with that continuous training our police conducted various shooting exercises," reports the mayor.
New sergeant
The Local Police of Las Torres de Cotillas currently has 35 agents and as of April 15 begins the tests to incorporate four more, three by opposition and another by mobility.
A body in which a few days ago Diego Pérez was released as a sergeant, adding to the chief officer and another sergeant in their positions of command.
