The online survey to select the performances with free admission on Friday 30 and Saturday August 31 has received nearly 2,000 entries
Lola Ãndigo and Camela will perform at the 2019 festivities of Las Torres de Cotillas.
That is the result of the online survey proposed by the Department of Celebrations, which has received 1,964 entries to choose the free concerts that entertain the nights of Friday August 30 and Saturday August 31 (both days at 00 hours).
"The Department of Celebrations made a selection of actions that fit the model of festivities that we propose every year and our budget," explains the mayor, Isabel María Zapata.
In addition to the winners, in the vote that has been open for about a month you also proposed Revolver, La Union, Blas Cantó, DVicio and Mojinos Escozíos.
"All of them were performances that throughout the year have proposed several times to the commission of celebrations and we are very happy for the great participation that this survey has had", informs the Councilor for Celebrations, Amalia Pérez, who points out that Lola Ãndigo added 39'8% of the votes and Camela 15'9%, imposing other options such as Mojinos Escozíos (13'4%) or DVicio (9'9%).
More participation
"This initiative is in addition to other neighborhood consultations we have been doing to further involve the public in prioritizing the spending of municipal resources and whose clearest example is the 2019 participatory budgets, which will have 350,000 euros allocated to activities and / or financially sustainable investments, "says Zapata.
