The Torreño City Council joins the celebration of March 8 with the reading of a manifesto (08/03/2019)

Today is March 8, International Day for Women's Rights and World Peace, the epicenter of the program proposed by the Council of Equality of Las Torres de Cotillas to celebrate this date.

To commemorate the big day of its activities this morning, the mayor, Isabel María Zapata, has read a manifesto in an act attended by neighbors and municipal staff.

On the other hand, the union of sport and gastronomy was on Thursday, March 7, the axis of the 2nd GastroSport Route, where its participants walked through various bars and restaurants in the municipality led by Chari Oller, monitor of Cultural Actions, and accompanied by the mayoress.

In addition, in the afternoon, the book "Counting: Stories of Equality and Values" was presented at the Center for Young Artists, held by the creative reading workshop group of the Department of Equality.

Tomorrow, Saturday, March 9, the activities will continue with a new edition of the GastroSport Route (9 hours) and the next day (18 hours) the theater group of the coeducational workshop for young people of the Department of Equality will perform at the Pedro Culture House Serna the work "How the story changes."
