Young Torreños take the stage to celebrate with coeducational theater on March 8 (11/03/2019)

The acts of celebration in Las Torres de Cotillas on March 8, International Day for Women's Rights and World Peace, were held on Sunday, March 10, in the hands of the youth of the theater group of the coeducational workshop of the Department of Equality .

Thus, boys and girls climbed the stage of the House of Culture Pedro Serna -which recorded a very good entry- to represent the play "How to change the story", which they had been rehearsing for weeks.

"Equality education from coeducation, where school and family play an important role, is the best way to work for equal opportunities between women and men," says the mayor Torrena, Isabel María Zapata.

A day earlier, the morning was the third edition of the GastroSport Route, where joining a sport gastronomy its participants walked several bars and restaurants in the municipality led by Chari Oller, Cultural Actions monitor.

On March 8, International Day for Women's Rights and World Peace, the Department of Equality organized the reading of a manifesto -by Zapata- in an act attended by residents and municipal staff.
