Torreño athlete Angel Salinas has done it again.
Once again he has paid off his participation in a great competition with a good harvest of medals in his favorite races: speed.
On this occasion, Salinas has won the 60, 200 and 40 meter straight events of the Spanish championship of veterans over 65 years of age in an indoor track played this weekend in Ourense.
"It has improved its participation with respect to the last edition, where it was gold in 400 meters and silver in the 200", indicates the councilor of Physical Activity and Sports, Ginés Pérez, who highlights the marks obtained by Ángel in Galician lands: 8'50 '' in 60 meters, 28'40 '' in 200 meters and 1: 03'05 '' in 400 meters.
"His three golds are added to a long list of titles both regional and national that make us feel immensely proud of him," says the mayor of Las Torres de Cotillas, Isabel María Zapata.
The athlete Torreño, who was even bronze in the 4x200 meters relay in his debut with the Spanish team in the European Championship, participated a few months ago in the World Cup played in Malaga.
