The Murcian group of Celtic folk music Túa will perform tomorrow Sunday March 24 (19 hours) at the Casa de la Cultura Pedro Serna in Las Torres de Cotillas.
This action, which is framed in the Regional Scene Plan 2019 and coordinated by the Department of Culture, will have free admission and free until full capacity.
Founded in 2008, this group has a wide repertoire of traditional music and own compositions with themes of Galician, Asturian, Irish, Scottish and Breton roots.
His influences are very varied, from Luar na Lubre, Milladoiro, Carlos Núñez and Berrogüetto to The Dubliners, The Chieftains, Solas, and Alan Stivell.
It consists of six members: Ismael Galiana, Raul Pastor, Pedro Blaya, Julio Forment, Miguel Aguilar and Irene Cano.
More activities
The programming of the Department of Culture will continue in the municipality with a free film session on the same stage on Friday March 29 (20:30 hours).
It will be with the film The snowman, which is part of the cycle chosen in the process of participatory budgeting.
In addition, on Sunday 31 will be celebrated the world day of theater with the representation of The Revenge of Don Mendo (19'30 hours), which will be borne by the local amateur group Tejuba.
