Last Thursday, March 28, the road safety campaign of the 2018/19 school year of Las Torres de Cotillas was closed, with the participation of nearly 900 students of 5 years, 4 of Primary, and 2 of Secondary. .
For this, an event was held in the road park located in the municipal sports center where the corresponding delivery of diplomas was made, as well as an exhibition by those who have best assimilated these teachings.
The prizes of the drawing competition in which the Las Torres Commercial Area collaborated were also awarded.
An activity in which participants had to reflect aspects of compliance with traffic regulations and values ​​of good driving.
Theoretical and practical classes
In this campaign, as usual, the young people received the theoretical information in their centers and then put it into practice by bicycle in the road park located in the municipal sports center.
The participating centers have been Valentín Buendía, Vista Alegre, Joaquín Cantero, Cervantes, San José, El Parque, Susarte, Divino Maestro and Monteazahar schools, as well as IES Salvador Sandoval and La Florida.
This initiative is coordinated by the Department of Education and Police and Civil Protection, and students participate in it.
