The City of Las Torres de Cotillas continues to carry out the series of maintenance work for schools in the town for which it has allocated more than 43,000 euros of municipal funds.
After the joint evaluations of the technicians of the Department of Education and Maintenance of the City, these actions are being carried out in the schools Joaquín Cantero, San José, Cervantes, El Parque, Valentín Buendía and Vista Alegre.
The works that are being carried out in the centers are of all kinds: from plumbing, masonry, painting, carpentry and electricity, to the renovation of toilets, pavements, doors, irrigation networks, trees, networks in sports facilities ...
These works are being carried out thanks to a new item created in the 2019 municipal budget. This includes a total amount of 100,000 euros, so there will still be funds to improve, within the municipal competences, the facilities of the teaching centers that need it. .
