The new edition of the Social Center Cultural Week for the Elderly of Las Torres de Cotillas is ongoing.
With the championship of domino and chinchón (9'30 hours) will begin activities today, Wednesday, May 15, which at 5:00 pm will host the performance of the theater group with the work of José Cedena Normal things of normal people.
The afternoon will be completed with a literacy class (17:30 hours) and the performance of the groups Coro, Rondalla and regional dances (18 hours).
Yesterday, May 14, the day started with the championship of billiards and petanque, which counted with the visit as guest of the mayor of Torrena, Isabel María Zapata.
In the afternoon there were two performances with free assistance: the group of ballroom dancing and the Rincón de la Copla group, both from the center itself.
More activities
A championship of parchís (9'30 hours) and the performance of the group Con aires de pasodoble (17 hours) will be the proposals of Thursday 16th, while for Friday 17th there will also be two proposed appointments: at 9'30 a championship of darts and from 17 hours an activity that will count on family lottery, the delivery of trophies of the championships, raffles and a pleasant dance.
To close the program on Sunday, May 19, users of the center will be able to enjoy a convivial meal and live dancing (2:30 pm).
This event, which as always has a varied program and adapted especially to the tastes and hobbies of the users of this center, began on Monday May 13 with a mass officiated by the parish priest of the Church of Our Lady of Salceda, Ismael Sánchez, and accompanied by the Choir and Rondalla del Centro.
In the middle of the morning, the secayo and chess championship was held, and in the afternoon the group Canela en Rama performed.
