Mayor Joaquín Vela forms his government team, with Marian Fernández as first deputy mayor (17/06/2019)

The new mayor of Las Torres de Cotillas, Joaquín Vela, has already decided on the composition of his government team, with the corresponding delegation of powers among the councilors of the municipal corporation.

Thus, under the agreement of governability signed between PSOE and Citizens, the first deputy mayor will be Marian Fernandez (Cs), who will be at the head of the Department of Industry, Trade and Consumption, Maintenance of the City, Public Services and Public Transport .

"It is an agreement that we consider beneficial for Las Torres de Cotillas, which respects the majority decision of the town and that will serve as a basis to work with determination and firmness for all our neighbors," explains Vela, who has reserved the Press areas. , Protocol and Institutional Image.

Vela was invested as mayor for the 2019-2023 legislature on Saturday June 15 in an extraordinary plenary session held at the Pedro Serna House of Culture where he received the support of his councilors and Citizens.

The new mayor and his first deputy mayor have not wanted to miss a single day of work and have had today - the first day after taking office - the first contact at the City Council, knowing the different municipal offices and the functionaries.
