The healthy itineraries that the Department of Health and Sports of Las Torres de Cotillas has created in the municipality premiered on Sunday morning October 27 with a popular day.
This march, in which the Local Police and Civil Protection collaborated, had departure and arrival at the municipal sports center.
In it, the assistants -of all ages- enjoyed this healthy activity of coexistence that also offered a healthy lunch with fruit and a gym class in charge of the monitor Chari Oller.
This project, designed to encourage the practice of outdoor sports, has connected the healthy itineraries that exist in the town, both those created by the City Council and those that the neighbors use in a popular way in their regular walks.
These pass through a common circuit that departs from Reyes Catolicos avenue and passes through the entrance to the gymnastic apparatus area in the municipal sports center, to continue along the avenue itself and Salvador Frutos and Velázquez streets.
There the itinerary forks and users have two options: on the one hand, walk towards the Avenida de las Industrias, Valencia and Pontevedra streets, to conclude in the Paco Rabal park;
on the other, take towards Avenida de las Industrias (east direction), Doctor Fernández López square and Parque de la Constitución.
"In addition, we have other healthy circuits defined and signaled in the Emisora's land," recalls Mayor Torreño, Joaquín Vela Fernández, who highlights the importance of exercise as a basis for the maintenance and improvement of health and disease prevention. .
