The Local Police of Las Torres de Cotillas has made two arrests in the municipality during the last bridge of All Saints, one for a crime against public health for drug trafficking and another for driving a vehicle without the corresponding permission.
"The person arrested for drug trafficking was seized several doses of hashish and marijuana prepared for retail sale, a baseball bat, two last generation phones and about 300 euros in cash," explains the Councilor for Citizen Security, Francisco José Caravaca Bravo.
In addition, local agents made a total of nine complaints, five for breaches of ordinances and four for violation of laws: three for violating the ordinance of road cleaning and two for breaking the citizen coexistence, in addition to two for breach of the organic law 4/2015 for the protection of public safety, one for transgressing the integral law of environmental protection and another for contravening the anti-smoking law.
"During this long weekend we have reinforced surveillance efforts, because they are holidays and uproar in which we have to enhance the safety of our citizens," said the councilor
