The "Carmen Montero Medina Foundation" continues with donations of bibliographical material - works of the author who gives the name of the entity - to the cultural associations of Las Torres de Cotillas.
Thus, on Friday, February 17, the Plenary Hall of the local Town Hall was the scene of the delivery of 400 copies of novels, works of aphorisms, short stories and poems to the municipal choir "Ménade" and the Municipal Band of Music.
The event was chaired by the Councilor for Culture of Las Torres de Cotillas, Pedro Cabrera, who points out that "the association has already donated more than 3,000 books to the entities of the municipality, in an initiative in which it has also included educational centers and Neighborhoods ".
It is worth remembering that Carmen Montero is Adoptive Daughter of Las Torres de Cotillas and her foundation organizes every year in the municipality an international contest of poetry that already goes for its sixth edition.
