The Towers of Cotillas has today lived Palm Sunday a morning of joy and bustle, in which the neighbors have paraded with their palms and olive branches next to the members of the Brotherhood of San Juan, who have carried two images in the streets Torrenas: adults the Triumphal Entry of Jesus in Jerusalem and the smaller ones the one of San Juan Evangelista, that premiered the past 2 of April in the children's procession that this year has been celebrated for the first time in the locality.
Before this procession the image of the Triumphal Entry of Jesus in Jerusalem has been transferred from the Parish of Our Lady of the Salceda to the Hermitage of the Cross.
Afterwards, the palms and olive branches have been blessed, an act after which has been in procession for the arrival at the Parish of Our Lady of the Salceda to celebrate a Eucharist.
Later in the middle of the morning, the blessing of the palms and olive branches has been carried out in the local "Divino Maestro" school, after which it has been paraded to the Parish of Our Lady of the Assumption in Los Pulpites, where another Eucharist has been celebrated .
I meet on Holy Tuesday
The events will continue on April 11, Holy Tuesday, with the night procession (21:30 hours) of Jesus Cautivo (image of the brotherhood of Our Father Jesus Nazareno) and Our Lady of Hope-Macarena (brotherhoods of La Verónica And Holy Christ of the Fall).
Together with the Nazarenes, Romans, manolas and drummers will march through the town in a procession to the conclusion of which will be the emotional and fervent encounter of the images at the door of the Church.
