As tradition dictates the Semana de las Torres de Cotillas was stained black and dark on the night of yesterday, April 12, Holy Wednesday, with the procession of Silence.
Started by the Nazarenes of the Brotherhood of the Holy Crucified Christ, as each year this passionate parade for the usual route through the streets of the town exuded solemnity, recollection and respect.
As is customary, the neighbors of the municipality set up at the doors of their houses altars with the various stations of the Via Crucis.
A procession whose origins go back to the 60's of last century and in which there will be no lack of drums of the third of Romans and the band of the Brotherhood of the Holy Crucified Christ (the 'black'), and various penitents.
