The project 'Ten years of quality management system certified with quality European Standard ISO 9001' of the functions and competencies of the Local Police of Las Torres de Cotillas has received the award in the category of Innovation in the 'III Awards The Innovation and Good Practices in the Administration 'granted by the Ministry of Finance and Public Administration.
The event, presided over by the president of the Autonomous Community, Fernando López Miras, and by the Minister of Finance, Andrés Carrillo, took place in the Regional Archive.
"Our Police was the first in the Region of Murcia to obtain this certificate and the second in Spain and the third in Europe to certify all their police procedures," says the mayor, who remembers that the Torreño security body regularly passes audits Monitoring and recertification.

The 'Awards for Innovation in Administration and Good Practices' emerged in 2014 to recognize the efforts made in these areas by the administrations, their entities and administrative units.
"This year's edition has presented 31 projects from all over the Region of Murcia," explains Police Councilor Gloria Fernández, who collected the award accompanied by the first deputy mayor, Ángel González.
