La Loma, a hamlet of Las Torres de Cotillas, celebrated this past weekend its festivities in honor of San Joaquin.
The celebrations ended last Sunday July 30 with the traditional procession in which the neighbors carried the image of the saint.
A day that had begun in the morning with the 'Day of the Bicycle' and that counted on a mass sung in the Hermitage of the hamlet, inflatable cushions for the children, a draw of convivencia neighborhood and a castle of fireworks.
The program of activities had begun on the night of Friday 28 with inflatable mats for children, followed by the beginning of parties, a tasting of churros with chocolate and the artistic performance of the duo 'Alter Ego'.
A very complete day
The next day, Saturday July 29 and proclaimed 'Children's Day', the activity began in the morning with children's games and a mechanical bull.
Already in the afternoon came one of the most awaited events: the parade of floats, where as every year their participants displayed their imagination and their desire to have fun.
At nightfall the party continued in La Loma Torrena with inflatable cushions for children, the 'Noche de la Zurra', the performance of the duet 'Latin Pop' and the party of the foam with live music.
