Work has already been completed on the renovation of Las Torres de Cotillas, a work that has involved an investment of about 143,000 euros and has covered some 1,925 meters between the La Florida roundabout and the intersection with the Oltra Moltó Avenue of the municipality.
"This avenue is one of the main access roads to various industrial estates in the municipality and for that reason virtually every day a large number of heavy vehicles pass through it," explains the City Maintenance Councilor, Inmaculada Fernández, who points out That "the asphalt began to show signs of deterioration and we decided to renew it".
These actions, which have also led to the complete renewal of horizontal signage, are part of the 'Regional Action Plan for the Dynamization of Works and Municipal Services' (PARDOS).
Of the total investment, the regional government - through the General Directorate of Local Administration - has contributed 95%, ie almost 136,000 euros. "With this work we seek to strengthen traffic safety in the area, which is abundant, Especially trucks, "says the mayor.
