With the beginning of the 2017-18 academic year, the university students of Las Torres de Cotillas have again the free public bus service that connects the municipality with the University of Murcia (UMU) campuses - both Espinardo and La Merced - and of the Catholic University San Antonio de Murcia (UCAM).
"This service began last year to meet the requests of many of our students and the result was so positive that we continue with it," says Councilor for Education, Pedro Cabrera.
This public transport will offer service from Monday to Friday between the stops of the neighborhood of La Florida in Las Torres de Cotillas and the Circular Square in Murcia, from 7:50 to 21 hours.
Between them the bus will stop at the following locations: gas station, C / Mayor (waterfront), Paseo Fernández Jara, Las Monjas neighborhood, Los Pulpites avenue, housing developments, Media Legua Avenue, UCAM and Espinardo Campus Veterinary).
"The user will have to justify in the Department of Education with the corresponding documentation that meets the two conditions to enjoy the service: be enrolled in one of the universities where the bus passes and be registered in Las Torres de Cotillas," says Cabrera , which adds that this request may be delegated "to any person who presents the DNI and the authorization of the student".
