Torreño Joaquín Conesa has been proclaimed new champion of Spain in elite category in the XX National Championship of BTT of Local Police.

A test that took place last Saturday September 30 in Puerto Lumbreras and in which more than 140 people from different points of Spain, such as Madrid, Barcelona, ​​Bilbao, Marbella or Ceuta participated.

"We want to give Joaquín the congratulations of his people because we are very proud of his great achievement, achieved in a championship in which the best local police competing in mountain bike," said the Councilor of Physical Activity and Sports of The Torres de Cotillas, Ginés Pérez.

This test is held annually, is addressed to members of Local Police in Spain and is divided into several categories in both male and female.

In this edition the participants had to give a total of four laps to the enabled circuit, until adding a total of 46 kilometers.

This year the race was organized by the Local Police of Puerto Lumbreras and the club 'MTB La Jara', in collaboration with the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras and the athletic club 'Nogalte'.
