A group of Pinoso will open the 'VI National Contest of Amateur Theater Juan Baños' Torreño (06/10/2017)

The 'VI National Contest of Amateur Theater Juan Baños' of Las Torres de Cotillas begins tomorrow Saturday October 7 (21 hours) with the play 'El eunuco', which will represent the group 'Taules Teatre' (Pinoso).

The initial proposal is a comedy by the Roman playwright Terencio, freely versioned to create a fun proposal with dialogues current, casual, hooligan and very funny.

This theatrical competition for amateur groups from all over Spain will take place between October and November, and is organized once again by the Department of Culture and the amateur theater group 'Tejuba' Torreño.

To close the works for the contest on Saturday, October 28, the 'Theater Company Under Construction' (Elche) will represent 'Seven screams in the sea'.

A story that takes place on a transatlantic bound for South America, where eight first class passengers are invited to enjoy the Christmas Eve dinner at the captain's table.

He will reveal to you a fact that will change the destiny of their lives and that will allow us to see what they really are, with their miseries, their guilt and their truth.

The closing of the contest will take place on Saturday 11 November with the awards ceremony, in an evening that will have free admission and with the representation out of competition by the 'Tejuba' of the work 'Go down to the moro.

Prizes that amount to about 2,000 euros and will be distributed as follows: 1,000 euros and trophy for the best show;

200 euros and trofeorespectively for the best actor and actress;

100 euros and trophy for the best address;

and 100 euros and trofeorespectively for the best actress and supporting actor.
