The Torreño Joaquín Conesa, recent champion of Spain of BTT in category élite of the Local Police, was received a few days ago by the mayor of Las Torres de Cotillas, Domingo Coronado.
This official event took place in the mayor's offices and was attended by the Councilor for Physical Activity and Sports, Ginés Pérez, and the father of Conesa.
"It is an immense happiness to be able to share with our great athletes their important successes, such as that of Joaquin, of whom all the people are very proud", explains Coronado, who gave Conesa the congratulations and remembers that in this championship "the best local cops competing on mountain bikes. "
Conesa prevailed in the test played last Saturday September 30 in Puerto Lumbreras and in which more than 140 people from different points in Spain participated, such as Madrid, Barcelona, ​​Bilbao, Marbella or Ceuta.
This test is held annually, is addressed to members of Local Police in Spain and is divided into several categories in both male and female.
In this edition the participants had to give a total of four laps to the enabled circuit, until adding a total of 46 kilometers.
This year the race was organized by the Local Police of Puerto Lumbreras and the club 'MTB La Jara', in collaboration with the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras and the athletic club 'Nogalte'.
