It's already Christmas at Las Torres de Cotillas.
If the lighting of lights last Tuesday December 5 set the festivities in the municipality, yesterday Saturday December 9 the proclamation of the Brotherhood of the Holy Woman Veronica and Holy Christ of the local fall gave the official kick-off to the Christmas celebrations .
A speech of beginning that was written by Joaquín Ruiz, president of this organization that this year celebrates the 50th anniversary of its foundation, and read by the local poet José Martínez 'el Lali' after a mass officiated in the church of Our Lady of the Salceda.

Today, Sunday December 10th, the XXVI edition of the 'José López Asensio' squads meeting is held, with the participation of the Beniel groupings, 'Aire Serrano' from Yeste, from El Paretón de Totana, from the Hogar de Las Torres de Cotillas, from Pelibayo de Albacete and 'Vergel de Murcia', organizer of the event.
After the reception to the crews at first hour in the Esplanade Maestro Don Angel Palazón, the church of Our Lady of Salceda hosts the office of a mass (sung by the participants themselves at the event.)
