The young athlete Sergio Torreño Jornet, belonging to the "Athletics Club Towers", participated in this Holy Week rally in the framework of the "Modernization Program" of the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation (RFEA) and counted as stage with the High Performance Center (CAR) from Los Narejos (Murcia).
In this event the young Torreño was advised of those responsible for the RFEA, including former middle-distance runner known Basque Mayte Zuniga (Champion of Spain 400, 800 and 1500 meters and twice Olympic runner) and combined events coach Joaquin Reyes.
"His call for an event like this shows the excellent level of Sergio and his high profile in our athletics," said Councilman Torreño Sports, Ginés Pérez Iniesta.
Jornet, combined events specialist, adds several national titles in different age categories for which has been passed.
"This young athlete with this great result confirms its forecast, as at lower accumulated a great track record adorned with many titles from different parts of the national territory," said Perez Iniesta.
