The "Amateur Theatre Contest III John Bath" Towers Cotillas, organized by the Department of Culture Torrena in collaboration with the local theater group "Tejuba" and distributes nearly 2,000 euros in prize money, will be held next October in the House of the "Pedro Serna" Culture of the municipality.

"This event can only participate amateur groups, whose names we will announce shortly, after a difficult selection process by the number of proposals and the quality of them," says Councilwoman Torrena Culture, Gloria Fernández

The four elected representatives, whose entries will cost 3 euros to be fully allocated to the local association "Parish Caritas", will take place Saturday in October (4, 11, 18 and 25) at 20:30 pm.

1,000 euros and 500: Meanwhile, on Saturday November 8th (20:30 pm) an evening that will feature a special theatrical performance by the hosts of "Tejuba" and the awards, which are held following for the first and second groups respectively classified;

200 euros and a trophy for Best Actor and Best Actress;

and a trophy for each of the best actor and actress.

"Every year we have a great support from the public, who knows theater and thoroughly enjoy the works that we bring, which are always of great quality even if they are performed by amateurs," said the Councillor for Culture Torrena, recalling that the last year the theater group murciano "Imagined Space" was imposed.
