Cotillas Towers Celebrates International Folklore Festival XXIV (29/07/2009)

Township Cotillas Towers prepares for a new appointment with the traditional International Folklore Festival "Villa de las Torres."

Burgos dance group "The Jerk" Belorado began in 1986 and currently has over fifty components, including school children, youth, ballet and chorus.

During these years she traveled throughout Spain from Burgos, and has participated in numerous national festivals in communities such as Galicia, Murcia, Andalusia, Asturias ...

In addition, each year holds its own International Folklore Festival and its varied repertoire includes dance forms most representative of his province wheels, jacks, seguidillas, court dances, treble, wedding dances, dances with swords, bandanas or bows .

For its part, the group "Dance Ensemble Bert" (Republic of Armenia) was founded in 1978 and has participated in many festivals in Australia, Bulgaria, Iraq, Hungary, France, Poland, Germany and Romania.

The group's repertoire includes national and folk dances accompanied by live music.

The musicians are renowned Armenian artists internationally and interpret traditional instruments like the Duduk, Zurna, Kanon and accordions.

The group also Shilpagya of Gujarat (India) is the one that best represents the authenticity of traditional arts in their country and their repertoire based on traditional music and dance from around the country.

This group, which has 75 members working in national events and 35 who are responsible for actions abroad, has an institute of folk dances and traditional musical instruments and has performed at festivals of national and international accompanying multiple cultural groups, emphasizing those held in Syria, Kenya, Tanzania, Mexico, Italy, Netherlands, Britain, Germany, France and Spain.
