Tomorrow, Saturday May 29 the town of Las Torres de Cotillas will join the celebration of "Africa Day" from 12 hours to a full schedule of events that will bring all Torreño colorful and interesting as the black continent.

There will be space for a round table, a tasting, exhibitions and even a music concert destination directory of African geography.

The day will start at 12 hours with the panel "The African plan. Relations between Spain and Africa", to be held in the auditorium of the school "Valentine Buendía."

At 14 hours, activities will move to Concourse Palazón Master Angel (against local council) to offer a tasting of typical African food, while 16 hours will shift to a display of dances coming from different corners of the world .

Not until 18 hours when you fight an exhibition of Senegalese, to be offered by some of the most prestigious teachers of African struggle, as Tapha Gueye, or Ecurie de Fass Abdou Diouf.

The day will play a close with a concert (20 hours) with free entry into the Senegalese formations acting "Mbaye Alionue Nder" and "Setsina."

The event was organized by dozens of associations of the Region of Murcia, who have enjoyed the cooperation of the European Integration Fund, the Ministry of Labour and Immigration, Cajamurcia Foundation, the Regional Government and the City of Towers gossips.

Africa Day

Officially Africa Day is May 25, day when we commemorate the creation in 1963 of the Organization of African Unity (OAU) which later would be called African Union (AU).

Thanks to the AU, the African continent has seen a proliferation of institutions that have ensured, or have tried to ensure, for progress and security of contiéndete.
