The neighborhood of La Cruz de Las Torres de Cotillas runs the final stretch of its patron saint festivities, which conclude tomorrow, Thursday, May 3, in a day that will begin in the early hours with the launch of a large festive firecracker.
At 20 hours there will be a procession with the image of the Holy Cross, leaving the church of Our Lady of Salceda and end in the Hermitage, and at the end a mass will be officiated.
The night will offer a great hot chocolate with churros (22 hours) enlivened with musical performance in the square and at the edge of the dawn a big firecracker will end the festivities.
Today, Wednesday, May 2, the protagonists will be the youngest with the children's games (17 hours) that have been prepared in the Plaza de la Ermita (inflatables, entertainment, educational workshops, cantajuegos ...).
At night (22 hours) there will be a neighborhood conviviality with free tasting in the square.
With the auroros
The festivities began on Sunday April 29 at the gates of the hermitage of the Cross with the celebration of the Mayos in charge of the bell auroros 'Our Lady of the Rosary' Torreño municipality.
The program continued and on Tuesday, May 1, the blessing of the Holy Cross took place in the Church of Our Lady of Salceda and the Music Band of Las Torres de Cotillas offered a free concert at the gates of the Hermitage.
