Las Torres de Cotillas will become the next regional capital of comics on June 1, 2 and 3, thanks to the celebration of the first edition of the 'Manga Towers' show.
"This event focused on the world of manga will take place at the municipal sports center, will propose more than 300 activities for all tastes and is directed by Toni Fernández and coordinated by Yolanda Castaño," explains the mayor Isabel María Zapata.
The event is organized by the company 'Todo por el Manga' and in collaboration with the Department of Youth and Physical Activity and Sports, and Heritage. "There will be a videogame zone, talks, DJ's, concerts, martial arts exhibitions, cartoonists and guest dubbing actors, emblematic cars of films and series, thematic parades, workshops, board games, contests, shopping areas ... ", advances Zapata.
"Among the guest cartoonists that will go through the 'Manga Towers' include Salva Espín, from 'Deadpool', or Dani Gove and Jate, from 'El Jueves'", explains Youth Councilor Ginés Pérez, who highlights that there will be a parade of the famous movie 'Star Wars' in charge of the popular 'Legion 501'.
More activities
But the activities will not end here, since others are also planned such as virtual reality experiences, laser tag competitions, karaoke, parkour exhibition, etc.
"It's a weekend event designed mainly for the young audience, but which the whole family can enjoy," says Pérez.
