The City of Las Torres de Cotillas has acquired 20 bulletproof vests for the agents of the Local Police, a purchase included in the plan of improvements of equipment and materials of the security bodies of the municipality and that has had a municipal investment of 10,000 euros
"These vests incorporate the latest developments in terms of protection and comfort for our agents to develop their services in the best possible conditions," says the mayor, Isabel María Zapata, who anticipates that more units will be added in the coming months.
In addition, procedures for new investments have already been approved within this plan.
"On the one hand, two cars will be incorporated for the Local Police and another for Civil Protection, for which will be allocated about 100,000 euros of municipal funds," reports the councilor of Police and Civil Protection, Pedro José Noguera
On the other hand, a drone will also be acquired for the work that this last body develops in the locality.
"This acquisition, which will also entail the contracting of the corresponding insurance and licenses, as well as the training of body members, will involve an investment of close to 13,000 euros," says Noguera.
