The burning of the Raspajo put one more year the colophon to the patron festivities of Las Torres de Cotillas in honor of the Virgen de la Salceda.

The design of this year's Raspajo, made by the Torreño artisans Pedro Fermín López and Rubén Fernández, was by the local artist Ventura Sánchez and represented a cheerful scarecrow, with a head of tender onion, with his garment of huertano, his wine boot, his crook, grape and other elements of the garden.
The act was opened by the mayor, Isabel María Zapata, with her speech closing the festivities from the balcony of the old City Hall, where she was accompanied by the Minister of Tourism and Culture, Miriam Guardiola.
Later, a large pyromusical castle served as a preamble to the burning, which concluded with the popular 'Canto a Murcia'.
One full day
