The patron saint of Las Torres de Cotillas, the Virgen de la Salceda, is ready to go up on Saturday, September 8, in pilgrimage to her hermitage, located in El Coto.
A parade that will put the definitive end to the festivities that culminated last Sunday, September 2, with the popular act of burning the Raspajo in the Esplanade Maestro Don Ángel Palazón.
The procession of the patron will depart from the church of Nuestra Señora de la Salceda after the celebration of a mass (19:30 hours), which will be officiated by the parish priest of the temple, Ismael Sánchez.
"It will be an exceptional way to say goodbye to this year's festivities, of which we are very proud and have had activities for all," says the mayor, Isabel María Zapata, who will also participate in this pilgrimage where the musical band and the launch of rockets in honor of Salceda.
