A group of students of 3 ° of Primary Education of the school 'Cervantes' of The Towers of Cotillas visited yesterday Tuesday 23 of October the local City council, in an activity organized by the center in which the Department of Education collaborated.
The mayor, Isabel María Zapata, and the Councilor for Education, Pedro Cabrera, welcomed the schoolchildren and explained to them in the plenary room the operation of the Torreño Consistory: how it is organized, what services it offers, etc.
"These young students could participate in a plenary session and feel like councilors for a day, proposing how to improve our town," explains Cabrera.
After this talk, the students visited several councils to see in person how municipal staff works.
