The training center of the Media Legua of Las Torres de Cotillas already hosts the training workshop 'Auxiliary activities in nurseries, gardens and gardening centers', aimed at long-term unemployed over 45 years.
With a duration of 330 hours and a non-work professional practice module of 80. "This training project is subsidized by the Regional Employment and Training Service (SEF), and co-financed by the European Social Fund for an amount of 28,725 euros", explains the mayor, Isabel María Zapata, who recently visited her students.
The most relevant occupations that participants can perform when they complete the training are the worker and conservator of urban parks, nurseries, historical gardens and botanical gardens;

Support for insertion
In addition, this initiative has a module of 'accompanying actions and support for insertion', with a total of 60 hours.
"Among its objectives is to mitigate the difficulties of access to the labor market and improve the level of employability of students," explains Councilman Employment, Angel Gonzalez, who also participated in the visit.
"With these programs seeks to offer some basic and professional skills that facilitate the incorporation into the world of work," said Zapata.
