The Department of Equality of the Towers of Cotillas already has in march its School of Conciliation of Christmas, in which they participate 36 boys and girls of the municipality of between 3 and 12 years.
This initiative is co-financed by the Torreño City Council and the Ministry of Family and Equal Opportunities (80% from the European Social Fund) and takes place at the 'Joaquín Cantero' school until the 4th of January.
"This holiday school has a morning schedule of 7'30 to 14 hours and seeks to help the reconciliation of work and family life in this Christmas period," explains the mayor, Isabel María Zapata, who notes that children attendees enjoy various recreational-educational activities.
The councilor visited this school accompanied by the councilor of the area, María Dolores Sánchez, and was able to talk with both the monitors and the children.
