The Maestro Don Angel Palazón esplanade of Las Torres de Cotillas hosted last Friday, December 28, the football exhibition tournament 3 'Automóviles Emilio & Grupo Promotora', in which dozens of children aged 4 to 11 had a great time.

"It was a healthy morning, of conviviality and fun, in which the participants could enjoy one of their favorite sports in a novel environment such as the portable inflatable courts installed," explains the mayor, Isabel María Zapata.

This event did not have a competitive nature and its registration was free.

"One of its main objectives was to bring sporting activity to the heart of the municipality, rescuing the essence of sport on the street and fostering among the youngest fundamental values ​​such as compan- ism and sportsmanship", highlights the councilor for Physical Activity and Sports , Ginés Pérez, who presided over the act of awarding diplomas to the participants.

There were four categories in which young footballers (eaglets, prebenjamines, benjamines and fry) were divided, who played their matches under the watchful eye of a large audience.

The tournament counted on the sponsorship of 'Gruexma', 'El Tintero Papeleros' and 'Ferretería Palazón', and with the collaboration of the Department of Physical Activity and Sports, and the local clubs Atlético Torreño, Ciudad Las Torres and Las Torres Futsal .
