04/08/18 The children's procession of Las Torres de Cotillas toured the streets of the municipality in the afternoon of Sunday, April 7, thus opening the parades of Holy Week 2019. It was its third edition, in which hundreds participated of children under 16 years old carrying the thrones and images of their respective brotherhoods made to their size.
Departing from Church of the Virgen de la Salceda, this procession toured the streets Mayor, Mula, Campo, Calvillo and Mayor to return to their point of origin.
A procession that included the participation of the mayor Isabel María Zapata and was received by a large crowd of spectators who did not want to miss this very endearing event.
A day before the Holy Week Torrena had lived its official start in the church of Our Lady of Salceda with the proclamation of Rafael Fuentes, belonging to the Brotherhood of the Holy Woman Veronica and Holy Christ of the Fall.
A day that also lived the tribute to Nazarene and Nazarene of the Year in the person of Rafael Callejas.
