The municipal program for the prevention of drug and alcohol consumption trains fathers and mothers (22/04/2019)

The municipal plan for the prevention of drug and alcohol consumption among minors in Las Torres de Cotillas has held a series of free training talks for fathers and mothers this April.

Its objective has been to prevent the consumption of alcohol and other drugs by their children, consolidating and reinforcing with an eminently practical character the contents worked on by the participants in the online course "Prevent from small".

Taught by a psychologist in the multipurpose room of the municipal auditorium Juan Baño and coordinated by the Department of Social Services, these talks have sought to provide tools to guardians of children to incorporate what they learned in family life.

Useful online course

The online course "Prevention from small", aimed at parents and raised to prevent the consumption of alcohol by their children, is carried out by the Ministry of Health from the Addictions Coordination Unit of the General Directorate of Public Health and Addictions.

This training, available at www.e-drogas.es/cursoargosfamilias, makes available to Murcia families three annual editions of about 4 months each.
