Last Friday, June 14, 2019 and in the context of the ordinary general assembly of the Spanish Confederation of Transport of Goods (CETM) held in Madrid, Mr. Rafael Fuentes Fernandez received the "Top Road Transport Manager" award (Best Manager of Road Transport) awarded by the IRU (world road transport organization) to honor the main managers of road transport companies worldwide, for their excellence and professionalism, and that for the first time falls on a Spanish manager.

The award was given by Mr. Marc Billiet from the IRU representative.

The "Top Road Transport Manager" award confirms the extensive professional experience and the outstanding achievements of the managers of transport companies.

Celebrate the success stories of exemplary managers who deserve international recognition for their high level of knowledge and work to raise the profile and strengthen the efficiency of the road transport industry, and this time it has been awarded to Mr. Fuentes for the trajectory at the head of the family company GRUPO FUENTES whose head office is located in the town of Las Torres de Cotillas (Murcia) and which has managed to take the company Murciana to place it as a reference company in the transport of goods at European level , being a leading company in the sector.

At the ceremony held in a well-known Madrid hotel, there was representation from different organizations in the world of transport, such as D. Ovidio de la Roza (CETM), Ms. Rosalía Gonzalo, (Councilor for Transport Community of Madrid), Mrs. Mercedes Gómez ( General Director of Land Transport Ministry of Public Works), Mr. Pere Navarro (General Director of Traffic), Mr. Pedro Díaz (President of FROET), Mr. Manuel Perez Carro (General Secretary of FROET), Mr. Agustín Fuentes (Group President Sources), several members of Grupo Fuentes and a multitude of assistants from various national and international organizations related to the transport sector.
