The opposition process to award the three public employment positions of the local police agent of Las Torres de Cotillas has already entered its final stretch.
18 are the applicants who have reached the oral examination, where during the last days they have developed before the designated court one of the subjects of said opposition.
"After the physical tests held at the sports center, the applicants conducted a test like a step prior to this last exercise," explains the Councilor for Public Safety, Francisco José Caravaca Bravo.
Once this last test is over, it is expected that the three people chosen will be incorporated as soon as possible.
"In addition, another local police station corresponding to mobility has also been awarded, an agent that has already taken possession and is working," says Mayor Torreño, Joaquín Vela Fernández.
Reach 40 agents
The Local Police of Las Torres de Cotillas currently has 35 agents, to which these four new positions are added, thus reaching 39 troops.
"And we want to reach 40 before the end of the year and for that we are working on the call for another place of mobility," says Mayor Torreño, who highlights "the importance of increasing the staff of this body to strengthen the security of the municipality".
In addition, this security body has a total of seven cars (5 police vehicles, one without rotary and the other for the canine unit) and 8 motorcycles.
