"It is intolerable that heartless people are blinded in this way with the tranquility and coexistence that reigns in Las Torres de Cotillas," complains the mayor of the municipality, Joaquín Vela Fernández.
And it is that the town woke up after Halloween night with different destroyed urban furniture: calcined containers, destroyed telephone booths, bus shelters shattered ...
"In spite of being a bridge, the municipal services immediately got down to work to clean up the result of this vandalism and did not alter the well-being of the population," said the City Councilor for Maintenance, María Ángeles Fernández Fernández.
Some acts that threaten the assets of all torreños and that may lead to responsible vandals fines of up to 3,000 euros, according to the Municipal Ordinance on Protection of Citizen Coexistence and Prevention of Antisocial Actions.
"From the government team we strongly condemn these actions and call on citizenship and citizen responsibility, as well as the collaboration of citizens in general to quickly find those responsible for these shameful acts," says the mayor.
