The Department of Culture of Las Torres de Cotillas opens tomorrow, January 18, the acts of the municipal program of the first quarter of 2020. "We have prepared a varied program, whose pillar is the theater, but which will also have other activities in which they will have fit those of Carnival and the beginning of Holy Week, "explains the councilor, Antonio Contreras Martínez.

This proposal will begin with the play 'Las Tirias', which will be staged by the theater group 'ZarandeArte' directed by Alfredo Vivo.

It will be in the House of Culture 'Pedro Serna' (20'30 hours) and this work - a Punic-Roman comedy written by the Murcian playwright and folklorist Luis Federico Viudes - will have free admission.

Two more for January

A cultural quarter that every Monday and Wednesday will develop a theater workshop in the afternoon (from 16 to 20 hours) and that the next appointment will offer throughout the morning of Monday, January 27 for the educational centers of the municipality also in the House of Culture.

To conclude January on Friday 31 (20:30 hours) the literary association 'Las Torres', in collaboration with the Department itself, will organize a new 'Literary Friday'.

With the House of Culture as the stage, they will honor their president for their birthday - the poet Salvador Sandoval - with an appointment that will be titled 'Salvador, they are already 92 ".
