For this reason, the Torreño PP proposed that the City Council urge the Government of the Nation to respect and comply with Law 21/2013, which establishes the rules of operation of the Tajo-Segura Transfer, which were approved in October 2013 by the consensus of five Autonomous Communities, the irrigators and the Government of Spain, respecting the decision of the technicians of the Central Commission of Exploitation.

In addition, the Government of the Nation was urged to reconsider the decision adopted by the Minister of Ecological Transition regarding the Tajo-Segura Transfer, in the months of November and December and issue an order to transfer the amount proposed by the technicians of The above commission.

In sum, a Motion of the popular councilors whose objective was to guarantee the legal security of our irrigators and the survival of agriculture in the Region.
