The Virgen de la Salceda nursery school and the Titina Child Care Center of Las Torres de Cotillas starred in the proclamation of the 2020 Carnival of the municipality.
The speech of these celebrations was given by its director, Adela Barquero, on an evening with free admission held in a Pedro Serna House of Culture full to the brim.
This event, organized by the Department of Festivities, featured various carnival performances - all spectacular - and the assistance of Mayor Torreño, Joaquín Vela Fernández.
At its conclusion, the participation of all the groups that will parade this weekend to fill the town with color and joy was recognized.
"These are celebrations in which our people turn, showing all their imagination and their desire to have fun, and it is a pride to have such an extraordinary participation," said the mayor.
And as every year the parades will be the real protagonists through the streets of the municipality, with a route from Juan Carlos I Avenue to the round of Mula Street: today Saturday February 22 (18 hours) the general will take place and tomorrow Sunday Sunday 23 February (12 hours) will be the child.
